So it seems I'm not exactly cut out for blogging - it's been over a month since I was last here and I have no real excuse for not posting before now...
Well, seeing as March is almost done and dusted I guess we can a bit of a monthly round-up. After a very productive February, I took ten days off at the start of March and enjoyed a holiday in Thailand. The break was fantastic, particularly as I chose not to work from the beach, but unfortunately the volume of work I was hoping to receive on my return home failed to materialise and so March, like January, has been something of a write-off. The few projects I've completed have been predominantly motorcycle related, with a little tourism and general business thrown in, and I also completed what was the first French-English job I've accepted in several years.
Aside from that, and finding myself with time on my hands, I've been proactive in researching and adding a few new clients to the books as well as planning a series of motorcycle-related articles/interviews that I hope may be published internationally in coming months.
Ironically this slow month is followed by what will be an expensive one with various annual bills to settle, including car servicing and insurance, so I'll need to do some financial juggling but I guess that this is what the life of a freelancer - particularly one based in Italy - is all about! All I can say is that I hope the upcoming months bring a slew of new jobs and projects - and the more the better. With that in mind, please don't hesitate to give me a shout if you think I can be of support moving forward.
